QuizFi is owned and operated by Aurethalis, a registered business name of Antonio Durasek, a sole trader based in Ireland (registered business name no. 793238), of 6-9 Trinity Street, Dublin 2, D02 EY47, Ireland. By using QuizFi you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
By accessing or using QuizFi at quizfi.app or any associated mobile application (collectively, the "Service"), you confirm that you are at least 16 years old, have read and understood these Terms of Service ("Terms"), and agree to be bound by them. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or an in-app notice.
QuizFi provides an online quiz platform where users can play quizzes across multiple knowledge categories, earn points, unlock content, and participate in leaderboards. The Service is provided free of charge and is funded through advertising and affiliate marketing.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice. We will not be liable to you for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features at any time. Points earn rates, unlock costs, tier thresholds, and reward values may change with reasonable notice to registered users.
You may use QuizFi as a guest without an account, but creating an account is required to earn and track points, access your leaderboard position, and redeem rewards.
Points are earned through genuine quiz activity, as described on our Rewards page.
We run automated monitoring to protect fair play. Where activity on an account is inconsistent with genuine play — for example scoring patterns that indicate automation or scripting, exploiting a bug, or the use of multiple or fake accounts — that account is flagged for review.
Following a review, we may remove points gained through that activity, suspend the account while we investigate, or close it if these Terms have been breached. We act only on the points or benefits connected to the activity in question; we do not remove points that were legitimately earned. Where we take action we will tell you what we found, and you may contest the decision by contacting support@quizfi.app. We will review any such request and restore points or access if the flag turns out to be mistaken.
Points earned on QuizFi are a virtual, in-platform currency only. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged, redeemed or transferred for money, goods or services outside QuizFi, and cannot be sold or transferred between accounts. Points may be spent within QuizFi on virtual items and features such as themes, avatar frames, power-ups, extra plays and premium content. We reserve the right to adjust or remove points we reasonably believe were earned fraudulently or in breach of these terms.
Points expire after 12 consecutive months of account inactivity (no logins). We will email a reminder 30 days before expiry. Spendable points spent on unlocks are non-refundable once redeemed.
Points have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be sold or traded. If we introduce any reward with monetary value in future, it will be governed by separate terms published before it becomes available.
The Service and all reward programmes are open only to individuals who are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction, if higher) at the time of registration. By creating an account you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. We may request proof of age and identity before fulfilling any reward, and may withhold or cancel rewards where eligibility cannot be verified.
QuizFi is free to play. No purchase, payment, or wager is ever required to participate, to earn points, or to be eligible for any reward, and making any optional purchase does not improve your chances of earning rewards. Outcomes are determined by your performance on knowledge-based quizzes (skill), not by chance. This is not a lottery, gambling, or game of chance.
Rewards on QuizFi are virtual items and account benefits — for example themes, avatar frames, power-ups, extra plays, premium content, badges and tier status. Available items, their point prices and their availability are described on the Rewards and Store pages and may change at any time. We do not currently offer cash payments, gift cards or physical prizes. If we introduce such rewards in future, they will be governed by separate terms published before they become available.
QuizFi rewards are currently virtual account benefits with no monetary value, so no tax liability normally arises from them. Should we introduce rewards with monetary value in future, you would be responsible for any resulting taxes and for reporting them to the relevant authorities, and we may need to collect tax information before issuing such a reward.
Rewards and reward programmes are void where prohibited or restricted by law. You are responsible for ensuring that participation and the receipt of rewards are lawful in your country, state, or region. We may exclude users in jurisdictions where our reward programmes would be unlawful or would require registration, bonding, or licensing we have not obtained.
Quiz content on QuizFi is generated and curated by us, including through AI-assisted generation. While we aim for accuracy, we do not guarantee that quiz content is error-free. Quiz results, scores, and any recommendations made on result pages do not constitute professional medical, financial, legal, or other expert advice.
If you submit any content to QuizFi (including display names, profile information, or user feedback), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and moderate that content in connection with the Service.
QuizFi displays advertising and may include affiliate recommendations on quiz result pages. These are clearly disclosed in accordance with our Affiliate Disclosure. We may earn commissions on purchases made through affiliate links. The inclusion of an affiliate recommendation does not constitute an endorsement of any product or service, and QuizFi is not responsible for third-party products, services, or websites.

All quiz content, design, code, trademarks, and other materials on QuizFi are owned by QuizFi’s operator, currently Aurethalis, or by its licensors, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our express written permission.
The QuizFi name, logo, and brand are trademarks of QuizFi’s operator. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use them.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
Quiz content, results, and recommendations are for entertainment and general knowledge purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind. Always consult a qualified professional for decisions affecting your health, finances, legal situation, or other important matters.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to the paragraph above, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, loss of profits or loss of goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.
QuizFi is provided free of charge. Subject to the first paragraph of this section, our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to €100. This is a maximum limit on our liability. It is not an amount payable to users and it does not create any entitlement to payment.
We may suspend or close your account where you have breached these Terms, where an account is flagged and confirmed on review as described in section 4.1, or where we are required to do so by law. Except where a breach is serious or ongoing, or where the law requires immediate action, we will tell you the reason and give you a chance to respond first. On closure, your right to use the Service ends and any remaining points balance is lost; points have no monetary value, so nothing is owed to you for them.
We may also discontinue QuizFi, or any part of it, by giving reasonable notice in the app. If you believe your account was closed in error, contact support@quizfi.app and we will review it.
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Deletion is permanent — points, history, and unlocks cannot be recovered.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also have the right to refer disputes to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
